This Privacy Policy explains how ShopSocial, Inc. d/b/a Trendsi ("Trendsi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit www.trendsi.com, use our mobile app, connect a store to Trendsi, or otherwise use our services (together, the "Services").
Trendsi is a wholesale and dropshipping platform for businesses. Our Services are intended for business users who are at least 18 years old.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
- Business and store information: store name, business and shipping addresses, and preferences you add to your profile.
- Order and billing information: the products you order and your billing details. Payments are processed by our payment processors (such as Stripe and Shopify). We do not store full card numbers; we may receive the last four digits and card type to identify your payment method.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, live chat, forms, or surveys, and any information you choose to include.
Information from connected stores and sign-in providers
- Connected stores: when you connect a store (for example, Shopify or TikTok Shop) to Trendsi, we receive information needed to run the integration, such as shop domain, shop ID, store address, currency, product listings you sync, and the order and customer shipping details required to fulfill orders you place through Trendsi.
- Sign-in providers: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive basic profile information that the provider shares with your permission, such as your name and email address.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages you view, links you click, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit.
- Campaign information: if you arrive from an ad or link, we record the campaign parameters in the URL (for example, "utm_source") with your account so we know how you found us.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your account and provide the Services;
- Process and ship your orders, handle returns, and provide tracking updates;
- Run integrations with stores you connect;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Send service messages (such as order updates and invoices) and, where permitted, marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- Measure and improve our website and app, with your consent where required;
- Show and measure our ads, with your consent;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including cloud hosting (Google Cloud), payment processing (Stripe, Shopify), shipping and tracking (ShipStation, AfterShip, and shipping carriers), email delivery (SendGrid), customer relationship and marketing forms (HubSpot), customer support chat (Zendesk), app performance and crash reporting (Google Firebase), and referral program tracking (Rewardful).
- Platforms you connect, at your direction, for example to sync products or orders with your store.
- Analytics and advertising partners, only if you accept analytics and advertising cookies (see Section 4).
- Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trendsi, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We group them into three categories:

Some features on our site also load content from third parties, which may set their own cookies or collect your IP address and device information when they load:
- Embedded videos: YouTube and Firework;
- Live chat: Zendesk;
- Sign-in buttons: Google and Facebook; and
- Referral tracking: Rewardful.
Your choices. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept All or Reject All analytics and advertising cookies. If you close the banner without choosing, we treat it as a rejection. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies for that browser.
5. "Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money.
If you accept advertising cookies, our advertising partners may collect information about your activity on our site to measure and show our ads. Under some U.S. state laws, including California law, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time by:
- Clicking Reject All in the cookie banner;
- Using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page;
- Turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser; or
- Emailing legal@trendsi.com.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including in California, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to make a request. Email legal@trendsi.com from the email address on your Trendsi account. We will verify your identity before responding, usually by confirming information we already have. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority and ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to appeals within the time required by law.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give California residents the right to limit its use.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After that, we keep it only as long as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, we keep order and transaction records for record-keeping. We keep your cookie choice for 13 months. Analytics and advertising cookies are kept for the period set by their providers, typically no longer than 2 years.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and limiting access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
Trendsi is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. Data protection laws there may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our site before the changes take effect.
